So busy preparing roast dinner that I forgot that I didn’t have any biscuits.  Quickly made some Pizzelle.
Cookie, I’m not showing Ral your Yo yos.  They are his favourites.   He will want some.

The biscuits look good Chookie.

After a lovely warm morning our temp has now dropped to 8 deg.  so have spent the afternoon in the kitchen.  Made Cheesey Meatballs with a vegetable sauce for dinner, 6 small pizzas for lunches, these will go in the freezer and a batch of Honey Crisp Biscuits.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I made a vanilla and chocolate marble cake and I wanted a long loaf to put sausages in for tomorrow night. I kind of made it too big.

How good is a sausage in a roll (or bread for that matter) cookie. A hungry man could eat that loaf of bread filled with sausages.

Cookie, love the look of that roll.  It will take plenty of sausages.
Had some fun yesterday.  Wanted some potato chips to go with watching footy.  Couldn’t be bothered going to shop so mixed  some SD with Potato flour and added sweet Chilli Sauce. Cooked in in the Pizzelle Machine.  Shows promise.  Very crisp but SD a bit prominent.

You are always thinking Chookie, a little less of the SD mixture next time perhaps?

Roast vege frittata; shepherds pie; roast cherry tomato and cashew couscous and, for the open day, although I really wanted to make one or two of the recipes you all suggested a couple of weeks ago, I only had time for lemon bliss balls and Honey Cinnamon Roasted Almonds.

I am pretty sure the lemon bliss balls is your recipe, Chookie.

Can you eat leeks? I thought of you when I made the shepherds pie recipe as it didn't have onions or garlic, but it did have two leeks.  I couldn't remember if they were one of the onion family that you could cope with.

Thanks Marina.  Can’t eat the white part of leeks, only the very top green part.

We went to my brother’s for lunch today and he had requested some bread. I needed something I could make this morning and take. I did one of Chookie’s loaves that goes into a cold oven. It had 50g oat bran and 50g of chia seeds. It was liked by everyone.
