How exciting CP! It reminds me when my consultant was at my demo she asked if I had whipped any eggs whites or cream in my TM31 and I said I done both, then pointed to my kitchen aid, and told her in there.

Thanks CP :-* So they are different.
Please when you have time could you post the contents of the Australian Basic Cookbook.Thank you :-*
I asked about this at the demo I attended.  Apparently 80 of the recipes are the anne across countries,  the remainder (100?) Are specific to the country of purchase.
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/

Can anyone confirm whether hosting a demo will mean I will qualify for a thermoserver? I'm hearing yes and no from people, so would like to know for sure before I order.

Just wondering if people in Australia are getting their TM5 within the 20 days or longer my payment was processed on the 17th Sept & we are going on holidays on the 11th Oct so hoping it will arrive. I see no point in contacting the consultant as she has not gotten back to me to arrange a demo & the cooking class was canceled due to low numbers no notice was given to me either so don't feel she is helpful in any way. I so wanting my TM to arrive & take it away with us & all so how do they delivery it any info would be great

Thanks, Dede! I really need one (I sold my last one), but I'm not overly keen on paying extra unless I have to. I will have another chat with my consultant and see if we can do a proper demo :)

They seem to be starting to arrive now. I ordered mine on the 9th September and apparently it's ready to be delivered. Hopefully next week I will see it.

My consultant said mine was ready for dispatch. So I guess at least I have my name on one.

You do qualify for a thermoserver. From memory demos need to be held within 2 months or so to get the thermoserver.

I've been given a delivery date of 7 Oct, which is right on the 20 working days advised when I ordered (9 Sept). I'm really looking forward to receiving the TM5  :)

Naturalmamma - you may struggle to get it by then as it would be 17 business days since your payment was done. But hopefully they start processing quicker and get them out and you get it in time for your holiday :)

After seeing the pav, am curious what creaming sugar and butter is like in tm5? Could never get it right in tm31

I could never get butter and sugar to cream properly in my tm31 either, floweryspring.

Does anyone know if the slightly higher temperature is enough to pop popcorn? I'm guessing that it isn't, but it would be cool if it was.
