What are you cooking today?

I do mine in the AF too Judy. I love my AF.

I usually make bread on Mondays but didn’t need to today as I we ran out earlier and I made it. I had a peek at Cookidoo and ended up making Pogača.  Naturally I couldn’t leave the recipe alone and fiddled with it.

Sorry Judy if I confused you. I meant I cook my capsicums in the AF too. I cooked this in a casserole dish in the oven. I snuck a piece for afternoon tea. It’s nice.

That's a lovely loaf of bread Cookie.
Yesterday I made a Date & Nut Loaf from an old recipe.  It's edible but not like it should be.  Today I am making Curried Sausages as requested by GS, also a vegetable bake.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Apart from family very occasionally I have not had friends here for a meal in over 6 years but today I have a gf coming. Gosh I’d forgotten how much prep work is needed, I always do as much as I can the day beforehand. Last night I did stage 1 of Farfallina’s Chocolate Souffle, made a broccoli/cauliflower au-gratin and par cooked carrots, pumpkin and potatoes ready to roast. This morning I made Chookie’s no fuss rolls, first time in years that I’ve made rolls. The turkey roll has just gone into the oven, I think I’m organised and ready for my friend.

Thanks cookie, there were lots of nice comments from my friend - we had a great catch-up as she was here for 7 hours before leaving for her  90 minute journey home.
