We did our grocery shopping this morning. It was crazy.

K ATIE, I was wondering how you were going with the rain.  It is cold here. Lovely.
GD came and helped make up all the beds for Melbourne invasion.
DIL picking up side of Salmon from Costco. Trying RTE recipe. I’m about to rush to Woolies and pick up box of prawns.  Then to Wilson’s for last minute veggies.

Went to Victoria Market at 6.30 this morning to get fruit and veges - I turned back when I found the queue to get into the car park was about 1 km long!  Ended up in our local Coles.

Now on holiday for 2 1/2 weeks before we re-open for the next year.  With luck it will be better than this one.

Hope you all have a lovely Xmas and that Santa is good to everyone.

We love Boxing Day.  None of the stress of Xmas day.
Lots of leftovers.
Visit and phone calls from friends and neighbours.
Reports of nice fuzzy things that  happened on Xmas day.
Chocolate ripple cake for breakfast! Not here.
I baked a  Bundt Jamaican Ginger Cake for neighbour who can’t eat dried fruit. Was rather spectacular.  They kept it for over a week to have for Xmas day.  Can’t believe it was still good.
Gave wheelchair to neighbour so 99 year old Mum could be wheeled around garden on Xmas day.
Neighbour came in for a visit and brought Xmas cake and washed up a pile of dishes while we chatted.
Baby ducks on the dam.
Will be glad when this year I over. Although will remember the kind and generous people from 2020.
Hope for better things  for everyone next year.

Fingers crossed for a better year Chookie.
It is our 48th wedding anniversary today. We will be having the very last of the leftovers for dinner.

Thanks Judy.
Not a lot done today. A bit of ironing and some washing. The leftovers are all finished.

I have spent the morning cleaning our the shelves under the sink.  Why do we keep so many odds and ends that will never be used again  :-))

Because we might need them one day Margaret, it’s crazy isn’t it?

Totally crazy Judy. I seem to have hurt my back in a minor way. Its very stiff, so I have taken some anti inflammatory tablets so that it is easier to walk.
