I had a full day - gym, home for an easy lunch before Ophthalmologist appointment (all good), onto Aldi then I called in for a cuppa with a friend. Home at 5pm.

Stocktake over the next 3-4 days .... my most hated weekend of the year, but, as my colleague said, at least we only have to do it once a year - I guess that could be my silver lining  :)

Down by the lake Chookie?
Marina I once worked In the office for a furniture/bedding manufacturer but at stock taking time everyone had to pull their weight.  I absolutely hated stocktake of the screws, nuts and bolts etc of the storeroom yet when a truck came in from our H.O. I was first there to help unload and check things off against what I’d ordered.

Fortunately I never had to be involved in a stock take.
DD and I had a light lunch out today. She is eating out tonight too, so it had to be light.

Been having a few quiet drives with DD finery  wanting to learn to drive ! Back dirt roads only , no cars !! Taken nearly two years to get her in a car .
Also went to shops to stock up a bit , just incase we may need some things !
It’s freezing.

K ATIE, that is great with DD finally wanting to learn to drive.  GS has wanted to drive since he was 4.  He asked for the keys to the Polaris when we were at Cherokee. He is now 15 and has had lots of experience on the family farm.
Judy, I might plant them outside the window where I do my exercises.

We had our first Model A run since February today. We went to a car museum and had an inside bbq and a birthday cake as our club is 40 this year. The weather was ghastly so most people took their modern cars. We even took my red Hilux.

Cookie, 40 years is a long time.   Congratulations. Love the cake and how nice to get together.
Did a big grocery shop yesterday. Probably the last for a while.  It seems that it is the teenagers to 40 year olds that are the most infected with the virus at the moment, in Melbourne. They are sick of the restrictions. They only have mild symptoms but can pass it on to others who can end up in hospital.

Thanks.
Covid 19 is indeed a worry. I see where Qld has said the Victorian team can’t fly up there to play footy against my team. Very wise I think.

It looks like some families in Victoria have been very irresponsible.  I think the State Government should come down very hard on them . We should follow Frances example and people from the areas where the virus has peaked should carry a paper that states the reason explaining why they are away from their home.
Gardening. Well established veggies are growing well.  Newer ones very slow. Lemons starting to ripen.
