Lovely C P.

I took the pecan pie to my brothers for dinner. His partner said he loved it. I felt very flattered. Thanks Tenina. It is so nice.

Hello,
Not sure if you're still looking for ideas but what about mini Calzones?  (See pg 128 of MWC).  Just divide the dough up a lot more than the recipe states -  possibly into 16?  (have never tried that many tho!)
And just omit or reduce the 2 hours dough rising time.
Hope you have fun   :-\

Calzones is a good idea or just pizzas if you have red and green stuff. You could use isi's Portuguese  bread for  the dough or one big fococcia

We made these in the end. He wanted something sweet.

We used this cookie dough recipe and Christmas tree cookie cutters. Then dipped them in chocolate (225gm choc melts plus 1 1/2 tbsp. coconut oil).  I hope they set ok ! Attached nice pic of chocolate all over his face lol. He's finally gone to bed ........ahhhhh.

Yes he did Judy .......... I'm really tired though and now have to make lunches, get clothes ready for tomorrow etc ........ too tired though to get motivated. It's been a big week, their Christmas concert was last night, so late night, then cooking tonight, writing cards for all their friends, presents for teachers, interviews etc ..........

Ahhh well holidays are a week away !

Good one Deb. Good choice. Not surprising he wanted something sweet.
