In an effort to not waste anything, I used a little leftover mashed potato to make fish cakes.  It  wasn’t quite enough so added some cooked brown rice.  Worked perfectly.
Made a crumb mixture from my blog.  Dipped chicken in it.  Must have miss printed the amount of KFC / spice in the mixture as it nearly blew our heads off.  Have rectified the recipe.
Chop 1/4 cup of both almonds and Rosemary in TMX
Add a couple of thick slices of wholemeal bread and turn to fine crumb in TMX.
Add 1 1/2 teaspoons of spice of choice and mix through.
Dip chicken in egg white, or egg or SD starter, then crumbs.  Spray lightly with oil
Cooked in AF 10 to 15 minutes.
Freeze remaining crumb mixture.
I used chicken tenderloins.

During our last lock down I was allowed to travel freely to Guildford every weekend as it is considered our second residence.  That has been banned this time and, because there was such short notice, I didn't get a chance to bring stocks of herbs, spices, cooking pots, tinned and dried foods, etc down here (thankfully we do have a TMX in the city, so all is not lost).

Anyway, I made our first couple of meals in this new lock down mode yesterday, i.e. with hardly any of my normal ingredients to hand!  I managed a soup in the TMX - potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes and tomatoes using powdered stock instead of stock concentrate.  Turned out not too bad ... then I got all adventurous and decided to make a vege curry - using only ground cumin (the only spice I had on hand).  This one was potatoes, swede, carrots and, because the vegetables looked so lonely, I tossed in a can of cannelloni beans  :P - not what you would call traditional Indian.  That one is also edible.

Note to self: get out and buy up more herbs and spices sometime soon so that I can make faintly edible meals for the next 6 weeks!

That looks very tasty Chookie. I made a Classic loaf today and prepared a SD overnight rye loaf.

The above photo is of the Chicken tenderloins that I buy from the Wholesale grocer. Natures Cargo.  You have to buy 6 kilos. ( $10 a Kilo )  I share these with DD and a neighbour. I freeze them in small plastic bags of 5 pieces.   They are so easy to use and versatile.

Last Friday I won "the idiot of the week" award.  On Thursday the gas plumber came and installed my new stove (gas cooktop).  The electrician said he would be here on the Friday, so as we were just about out of bread I thought I had better make some.  All went well, bread in the tin ready for the oven.  DH came out and said how are you going to cook it you don't have an oven. OOps.  Not to be beaten I divided the dough, put some in a small cake pan and some in a small steam pudding bowl.  Decided to cook one in the AF and one in the easy cooker.  Something is burning, the one in the AF rose and hit the element.  The one in the easy cooker also rose and hit the grill under the element.  Not the best bread I have ever made but we ate it.

Yesterday I made a date slice and a pizza.  It's nice to have an oven that works properly.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Oops, not your day Margaret.  You won’t know yourself now that you have a new oven.

Yes there is Marina. I have made it when we have been away. We like it the best as a fruit loaf. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=98.0

It’s not bad toasted.
I cooked my overnight SD eventually. It took ages to rise, I had to give it a little bit of help.
I’m going through lots of paper clippings etc as we clean out. I haven’t looked at them for years but want to look through them before I throw them. I found a lovely Chocolate Nut Slice today and made it. It’s delicious. I will post the recipe.

Mab, so glad you are enjoying your new oven.  Never mind about the burnt tops.  We all do silly things. I really can’t bring myself to steam bread.  Would rather cook it in the SC.
Today some Surprise Ginger nuts, will replace 1 tablespoon of Golden syrup with molasses .

My mouth is watering Chookie.
We usually make the Varoma bread in the caravan as we don't have an oven in there.
