I have some steaks in marinade now, will have them with home made hot chips (I have been given another 10kg bag of potatoes and still have about 8kg left in the bag before...) and salad. :)
And fresh buns if I can be bothered making them.  :-))
:D

Good thing potatoes are so versatile Astarra ;D

Well, I did the roast lamb, and I undercooked it :( I had taken it out and let it rest while the vegetables were browing, and when I cut into it, I realised that I hadn't checked it properly and it was still really pink. But since step-dad had already had his insulin shot, I needed to serve something up so that his blood sugar wouldn't drop too low. So I cut just enough meat from around the outside to dish up the meals, and then snuck the rest of the roast back into the oven to finish off :) Nobody will ever know.... ;)

Dinner tonight is a home made meat pie from the freezer and a mixed vegetable casserole.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Everyone's dinners sound really good :D Tonight I'm making the chicken curry that mum didn't want on Saturday :-)) ;)

Going to have lamb chops tonight and will try Halex's spicy rub on them.

I'm going to try it for mum and step-dad next time I cook them lamb chops :)
