Newbie from South Wales
« on: November 06, 2013, 04:45:29 pm »
Hi to everyone

I'm a wife and mother who lives in the UK in a country called Wales (it's not in England) ;)

I have wanted a thermomix for years and I have a demo booked for this Saturday.

I intend to buy one and am very excited to have a new gadget as I'm a techie and a lover of great food. I also have some health difficulties and hope this device well help me make healthier choices!

I'm looking forward to sharing your recipes and in time, sharing mine!

Kind regards

Welcome WR.
I have a good friend from Wales and he is a very proud Welshman. I look forward to hearing about your fun cooking in your thermomix.

Hi WR, welcome to the forum. Let us know how your demo goes today.  How long is delivery time in the UK?

Welcome WR.
I think you will find the Thermomix perfect for cooking if you have health issues as you will know exactly what is in your food.
It is perfect for cooking if you have allergies etc.
Enjoy.

Hello again

Had my demo yesterday and the food was yummy.

Thanks for your welcome.

I ordered my machine, I'm hoping it will come on Tuesday (or at least that is what my demo lady hopes for).
So the delivery time seems good doesn't it?

I bought the extra bowl so would you be kind enough to comment on the usefulness of such a purchase because I need to convince my husband of the extra spend! ! !

I'm looking forward to some fast, easy, healthy meals for when I go back to work after a major operation. I am diabetic insulin dependent too so any ideas of easy stuff I can practice? I love soups, curries, I can eat veggies if they are well cooked and cooked apple recipes would also be really useful useful.

I'm new to forums and if I should have started a new thread, can someone advise me of this too?

Blimey, I'm asking a lot of questions!

Kind regards
