Recipe Requests / Chocolate Mousse
« on: April 20, 2011, 10:08:18 pm »
Hi All,

Does anyone have a good recipe for Choc Mousse. Have tried the EDC one twice but it is a little sloppy for my liking. DD wants a repeat of the dessert I made at Christmas time using Chocolate Mousse in individual chocolate cups. Served in with Fruity Dream in Brandy Snap baskets. Just want the Mousse to be a little better. Want to make it for Easter if possible.
Thanks.

Recipe looks lovely. I guess I can get the steamer for about the same price in Melbourne. Anybody know where? We are coming to Melbourne after easter to get green coffee beans.

Hi lovemythermo,
I agree with the others. Baileys is the only thing my son uses the TMX for. He uses Scotch.
Have fun.

Hi and welcome Wombat. I agree with JD. I put harder veg in the steamer/rice basket that sits inside the jug. Easy to tip out the water and quickly mash at the end. Glad to see you are pleased with your TMX and getting lots of use from it.

Thanks Rara

Lucky I saw this. Have just asked DH to pick up an extra block of cheese at the local farmers market. Can't wait to try this recipe. I love cheese.

This is the first site I visit when I turn on the computer.

I have been told that Eucalytus oil takes labels off. I just soak them for a while and then use steel wool.  Makes a mess but gets the jars clean.

Lots of helpful hints there. Thanks

Welcome eightmurphys,
Think paperwork has to be processed by early March. Try contacting consultant again and reminding that you really want the 2 thermoservers as part of the deal. Don't understand why the paperwork wasn't completed on the day of your demo - that what I like to do. Email to HO before end of day if possible. When you see one - you really, really, really want it NOW (or I did anyway).
