When I print out stuff I don't want, I just put it back in and print something on the other side.  Never gets wasted.  Will look for that box when I get home Karen, don't have time now.

unfortunately we can't print on the other side - it teds to get caught up in teh printer and stop it working :( but at least it gets recycled by my children who are addicted to drawing!

I found that print thingy Karen but only - actually this is all to hard to explain but whatever I do, all the pages print out.  I like to use the print which is larger and I get this by clicking on print at the top of the recipe.  It's not a problem for me though and in future when I want to print out things for other people, I will just photocopy the main recipe page and skip all the comments.
I don't expect you to understand what I am saying as I don't understand it myself :D :D :D :D

Judy, the way I copy the recipes I want from here, is to firstly open a blank word document, then come on here and highlight the recipe that I want to copy, by left clicking the mouse on the text I want to copy, then right clicking and selecting 'Copy'  then go to your open word document and firstly left click the mouse where you want the recipe to start at the top of the page, then right click and select 'Paste', the recipe will then copy itself to your page.  You can then just print off using either Control P or clicking on the printer icon at the top of the page.  You can also then save the recipe on your computer in a file if you want.

I hope this helps and I've not confused you further.

    Julie.

HI Jd - look up on the top left hand corner of your screen.

Alternatively hit down the Alt key and then press the F key - a menu should drop down

You can actually skip that step by holding the Ctrl key down and then the P key and reach the same point - sorry - I know what I'm doing but don't know how to explain it  :-\ :-\

Yay I did it. When I did this, the word file appeared out of no-where and from then on it was smooth sailing.  Thanks for your patience Thermomixer :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* and thanks also to JulieO for your tips (that was a bit too much information for me unfortunately as I am such a dummie computer operator).

And to show it was no fluke and that my lesson has sunk in, I have just printed out another recipe without all the comments. I am so excited that I learnt something new today. DH was excited for me too as I ran up the hall whoo, whooing all the way. ;) ;) ;)  I did it without referring to my notes too :P :P

JD - Perhaps your main menu isn't turned on in Internet Explorer (ie File Edit View Favorites Tools Help)

Right click in a plain grey area in the toolbar section and see if Menu Bar is ticked. Click on it if its not.

Hannah, when I clicked in the grey area (hopefully in the right spot) I got  a little box which said Toolbar, Views bar & Search Bar - all 3 were ticked.  Didn't see Menu bar anywhere.

I can't find what you have anywhere! I use IE7 at work and have IE8 at home and they both come up with similar options. I'm sure you said earlier you had Internet Explorer when others were encouraging you to try Firefox. Not sure what else you can try. Unfortunately we all customise our computers to suit ourselves so everything is not always quite the same.

I hopefully have included a picture and hope it will be big enough for you to make sense of.
