There are some pretty different recipes in it, but it's exciting to see such special recipes, and to have them to make now and then for special occasions

Hi everyone! Long time no see Been too busy to get on here much... Should really be in bed but thought I'd pop by and see what's been happening lately. Surprised there's no chat about "In the Mix" yet - anyone got it? What do you think of it? I love it! I've made a few of the recipes, and hope to make lots more... I know there's lots of restaurant type recipes that not everyone would bother making, but lots of them have 'parts' that could be made on their own, like caramel sauce, or an hazelnut praline, or sauces... There's just so many inspirational ideas and recipes, makes me want to get in the kitchen and start cooking! What about you guys? Have you seen it yet? What do you think?

Hi Joan, how are you going with your Thermomix? Your post caught my eye as my parents are from the US and used to live in Missouri, and I've been to St Louis and the Arch and all (We're in Australia now though) Hope you've found some others in the US using the Thermomix - wish they'd sell it there! I'd love my family to be able to get them easily. It's such an amazing appliance - I use mine constantly, every day - wouldn't be without it!! Have fun

Oh Robyn, those look amazing! Wish I could reach my hand in and grab one to have with a cup of tea!! I've been a bit absent from the forum lately - so busy - missing you all so thought I'd pop in and say hi!! Today I wanted to make something special for my DH for Father's Day, but he's sick as a dog and won't be eating it today I decided to make a raw strawberry ice cream pie, which I'll pop in the freezer and we'll get out when he's feeling better. So I've been making some homemade raw chocolate, and a raw vegan strawberry-avocado ice-cream for the filling - next on the list is the raw chocolate crust for the pie. Also made roast and veges. And a horrible mixture for my poor DH out of apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper and ground ginger - ick.

So is it just me, or has that link disappeared that you click on to find any topics you've posted in that people have replied to? You know, up the top on the left? It's not there anymore!

Hi Karen, I love pomegranate on banana custard with crumble topping - so good!! Here's my recipe, with photo below: I also think it would be lovely in that beetroot salad with fetta, as well as the pomegranate molasses - wanted to try it but can't find any more pomegranates Wish I had some in MY vege box!!!! Enjoy!

Quirky Cooking,( Jo) has a very good article about Rapadura http://quirkycooking.blogspot.com/2009/07/rapadura-sucanat-muscavado-turbinado.html
Thanks CC There's a few links to placed you can buy it on my post above. Yvette, I prefer honey in my tea, as rapadura has a strong flavour - but it's perfect in coffee, or with chocolate, lemon, caramel, vanilla... I do use it in my tea sometimes though.
