Sorry Vivaroo, just getting back on here! Yes, you can use wheat, spelt & rice - I'm sure it'll work fine! If it's too sticky just add a little more flour. It is a little more sticky than usual cookie dough that you roll out, but once you chill it (esp if you chill overnight), it's better. And popping each batch in the freezer after you cut them out (just for a few mins) really helps to get them neatly onto the trays!! :) Hope you like them guys!

Mine!  ;)  I grind up the spices, orange zest, roasted almonds, etc in the Thermomix and the flavour is awesome! And they're really crunchy, which I love. :)

You can make them with regular or spelt flour if you'd rather, they still turn out really crunchy and delicious!

Thank you Cuilidh!! That's very sweet of you :)
I love reading everyone's favourites - gives me some different ones to try... Will add a couple of new ones to next week's menu!

Can you still buy the MWOC My Way of Cooking cookbook?

Yes, although not sure if there are many left - they're in the process of reprinting. But if you have an iphone/ipod/ipad you can buy the MWOC app which is handy - you can check it out here: http://www.thermomixapp.com/training/downloading-the-thermomix-app-in-itunes/

Thanks for replying, Dani! I didn't actually re-post the info from your facebook page, that was Katya! (Thanks Katya!)

Getting lots of positive feedback from customers about this book - I'd love to hear what else everyone's made. The virtual bacon dust is amazing - but I was worried when I saw the dashi powder had msg in it... thankfully we were able to find an organic one that doesn't - so keep an eye on that if you want to make the bacon dust.

That is a really great way to start menu planning - list all your family's favourite meals! Here's some more ideas here on how to menu plan: http://quirkycooking.blogspot.com/p/how-to-menu-plan.html

I'm thinking of starting a link-up on my blog of Thermomix weekly menu plans - anyone interested in joining in? Gotten slack with planning, and I always do better with it if I put it in writing where I feel accountable to stick to it!!! :)

Hi JoJo - yes, it's a fantastic demo!!! So worth the extra food - your friends will love it AND you'll have leftovers - it makes heaps!! Everyone I do this demo for raves about it - great recipes! :) Have fun!

Don't worry, my DH doesn't like everything I make either - especially if I put lots of garlic or rosemary in it!  ;)
Your variation sounds lovely!!! :)

Thanks Moo2!  ;D

Zelda, I don't think coconut butter would work so well - you can make your own coconut cream to use in it though, if you like? The coconut butter should be okay in bikkies instead of the oil, although I would probably use half coconut butter, half macadamia/grapeseed oil, otherwise they'll be hard and maybe the mixture won't be wet enough to hold together. If you're concerned about the cost of coconut oil, try buying it bulk online - say a kg or 2 at a time (go halves with someone!) - it's heaps cheaper. :)

Do you really not like MWOC, Megan? I've got lots of favourites in that one! And I love that it has all the photos, and photos of steps for the recipes... which I find frustrating in the EDC as there's not photos for everything. I like photos!! :D But I definitely agree 'In the Mix' is in a class on it's own :) And Dani is VERY generous with her help and advice on the recipes - just go to her facebook page and ask if you have any questions!! https://www.facebook.com/InTheMixGreatThermomixRecipes?ref=ts
