Title: macerating dried fruit for christmas cake.. fridge or bench?
Post by: Persistenttiger on December 12, 2012, 02:58:17 am: I have been macerating dried fruit in brandy for christmas cake in the fridge, but I really need the fridge space - would it be okay in an airtight container at room temp? I want to leave them for a few more days yet.

It might help her sleep.

We have always left ours on the bench. It has never gone off yet.
