Mcmich, Cookie and Courton your days sound wonderful, weather here is still rain on most days.

DJ, at least you weren't told that you were  wasting your time.  When I took our first pup to puppy school the teacher took one look and said " Agh, a terrier, you are wasting your time, they cannot be trained".   ;D  Hang in there

We had a plumber and handy man here today to install the new stove.  So glad the old one is gone.  Maybe I can now have both oven and top on together without the top going out.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

If it was my DH it would be 6 years and he would have demolished half the house while trying   ;)
Not a handyman at all.
Good Luck DJ it will look amazing when finished  :)

Yes JD you are right and although not a handyman around the home he is a very hard worker and has worked long hours over the years. Has cut down in the last couple of years. Still works long hours but takes more annual leave instead of retiring.  ;)

Well part of the kitchen arrived today, all so there are no more excuses. It took 5 minutes to rip out the old cupboards and work top. Think it will be a few weeks, but lovely to have an oven. The weather is better this week so we are back bbqing but last week was too wet.

Relaxing morning here watching the countryside go by. Blue in the sky today which is nice. We are cruising until mid afternoon when we stop for a few hours so a nice relaxing day on board the ship. It's lovely not having to rush out.

They were always the times we loved the most MF, relaxing and in no hurry to do anything.

DJ   I hope your kitchen is making some progress.
MF enjoy the resting, it sounds lovely. I learned over the weekend that going on Model A weekends is very hectic. Today I am doing nothing, despite everything needing doing!
