I think we are into Autumn.  Cool today.
Last night a sheet of tin flew of the garage roof.  Ral thought he would get the ladder out and fix it.  I quickly rang my DD who arrived in a few minutes with GS.  GS , 15 years old, climbed ladder and replaced tin.
What do you do with a stupid 80 year old man who thinks he is still 30 and can do anything. ?

Sounds like my DH Chookie.  I found mine up the ladder yesterday cleaning out the spoutings. :-)) :-))   Our DIL is a nurse in ED at the local hospital and is always giving DH a lecture but does he listen, of course not.

Saved by the quick response from DD & family Chookie.  It must be hard for men to let go of being the fixer of all things broken but things do go wrong.  They just don’t believe it until it happens to them and we wives don’t want things to go that far.

Naughty boy Ral. I can't keep the 70 year old off the roof. On Monday he went over to help a very dear friend who is about 85 or so.  When he came home I asked what he had done for him. He said...fixed the leak on his garage roof.   Grrrrr!
The weather here is ghastly. Round 35/36 or so but very humid. It is making my skin so itchy. I hate it.

Cookie, they are all the same.
Cool again here today.  From a dry brown Summer, everything is turning green.

Here we are in the middle of summer, and I am wearing a winter jumper!  This year has been totally crazy.  The one good thing is that the water reservoirs are filling up but, where that isn't happening, the flooding has been terrible.  there never seems to be a comfortable 'middle ground'.

Still warm and humid here. I wish it would pour and then clear up.

Forecast for 28 today.  GD in Bagpipe competition in Ballarat Victoria Park today.  Might take picnic lunch and go and watch.
