I've been making lampshades with a couple of friends. I’m really pleased with the one I made ;D

CC, I love lamp shades.  When we shifted 2 of ours got damaged.  It was very difficult to replace them.
Lucky friends, well done.

I've been to IKEA today. Really surprised that it wasn't that busy.

Busy day today - need to drag DH out to get a couple of new pairs of work trousers for him ... go to get them hemmed ... off for our annual flu vaccinations ... back to work, pack the car and head off to our annual chamber music weekend at a vineyard in Heathcote - that runs until Sunday afternoon (hoping for good weather) then back to Melbourne to meet a friend for dinner on Sunday night ... might get a rest after that!

Certainly a busy day ahead for you Cuilidh.

We had our flu injections a few days ago.

Marina, what a busy weekend. Hope the weather holds for Heathcote.
I think I may have killed my SD starter. I inadvertently tipped in some flour that had a large amount of salt added. Fortunately I gave some to my gardener and hers is very happy.  I baby sat it for her a couple of weeks ago so know that if my starter doesn’t recover, I can get some from her.

I went to the P:odiatrist this morning then had a walk around our local Westfield shopping Centre. I would like to look at Kitchenaid's new microwave. I don't need a new one but this has me interested. I think it would be like a second oven. It will fit in our microwave space. https://kitchenaid.com.au/products/microwave
I didn't find one though, so will keep looking.

Well done Denise, you seem to succeed at anything you put your hand to.
That microwave does look interesting cookie, do yourself a favour and shout yourself one then you can tell us all about it.
A busy weekend Marina, enjoy yourselves.
Bad luck about your SD starter Chookie, at least you have a backup source if you need it.
I can’t get my flu injection until late May when the next batch comes into my doctor’s surgery.

We bought a load of wood chips for the garden this morning, so have been busy spreading them around.

CC that looks lovely. Well done.

Marina I hope your weekend is going well. I went looking for the microwave this morning Judy, only one place has heard of them, but didn’t have any. I will see how I go. Perhaps they haven’t reached WA yet.
