I've printed this to try when we're away Amanda. It looks a good caravan recipe. Thanks.

Hope you enjoy it, cookie, although I think that it could do with a bit of beefing up in the flavour department.  Maybe 1/8 tsp of anything is hardly worth it?

I think often 1/8 tsp is often enough to just make the difference between bland and flavoursome, without burning children's tongues out.  (Even some adults -eg Maggie Beer can't do chilli = so that amount sounds fine ;) )

I made a macaroni cheese sort of thing last night (no cream cheese) and flaked a tin of pink salmon through it. Then put breadcrumbs on it and baked it until they were crisp. Very nice. A thermomix, mix, of a recipe from a magazine.

Just my 2c, but I would sauté the onion and garlic in butter in the TM first. Then add the rest of the ingredients. But then, it's not "Easy Mac N Cheese" anymore is it? :D

Well, I screwed up. I guessed the amount of pasta and thought it looked too much sauce so left some out. Big mistake. I now have dry mac and cheese. Tastes delicious but would be so much better with sauce!! LOL
