Recipe Book Recipe Reviews / Re: Sweet and Sour Meatballs - EDC
« on: February 26, 2015, 09:20:26 pm »
Made this last night.  Very disappointed.

The meatballs were awful.  No-one would eat them and they got tossed.

The sauce was ok but I needed to add water to make it less like clag.

I ended up having two minute noodles with a spoonful of sauce stirred through.

Welcome Deb. This is a great place to find not only healthy recipes but also a lot of support not only with the TM.

I've opened my SS pressie.  Thank you so much!  Until yesterday I didn't have a stove or fridge and today I have both, installed, working and I have .........the most perfect apron to wear when in my kitchen.  I'm absolutely thrilled.  It's as if you have seen my new kitchen because it matches perfectly or was it because you remembered when we voted on the forum for which apron we liked ?   😝 I think my secret Santa is very sneaky

Merry christmas to my SS and thank you so much ☺️

PS - it matches my moon boot 😜

Just catching up on this thread now, since Im not supposed to walk around much, I've got my ipad and I'm catching up on everything.

DD, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog.  Really. It's  the kindest thing you can do for the poor little dog but then again, it's an awful thing,to have to do.  I lost my little dog earlier this year and I still miss her every day.

Katiej, I didn't realise you had had surgery, sorry.  I hope everything is ok now.  Take care.

JD I'm sure those hampers were much appreciated.

JD, I'm off on my water skiing holiday in two weeks.  Guess I'll just be watching😿😩

Katiej, my cat wouldn't move, she laid there for about an hour.

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm just hoping it heals because I've been doing a lot of work on the Reno at our property in the last six weeks and have been on my feet a lot, as well as a lot of walking when doing Xmas shopping.

I'm not sure what the consequences are if it hasn't healed.

It's not that sore, it aches a bit at night though.

This is how I'll be spending christmas.

I slipped in a hole a about 6 weeks back and had an X-ray a couple of weeks later.  Dr said he'd ring of there was any problem

Trouble was, the X-ray results never turned up and I found out on Wednesday it's fractured.

So I'm in the boot for a month or so and will have it xrayed again to see if it's healed

My goodness, I remember our introduction to Luka.  How gorgeous he was then and how gorgeous he still is.

Seasons greeting to you too Stef.

A few days back I downloaded the newer version of tapatalk but couldn't log in and reset my password but today I couldn't log in again then I could, then I couldn't and I've been racking my brain trying to sort out what on earth I had done.

My SS pressie arrived.  I'm super excited. Ok, I'm just a big kid at heart.

I was waiting for another delivery so I opened the parcel post bag before I realised what it was.

No smell, very soft, very light.  Intrigued.

I took a picture but tapatalk won't let me upload it.  I'll post as soon as I can sort it out

News about Thermomix / Re: Vorwerk advises of Faulty Seals in some TM31s
« on: November 28, 2014, 12:18:26 am »
Just read this post & I'm definitely confused.

I assume when we are referring to machines it's just the bowl part that's an issue.

I have 2 bowls one in the affected range & 1 not (second bowl received as part of the half price deal).

So one grey & one green seal. It's easy to tell which seal to replace as mine hardly stayed in. The green seal is definitely tight & I have to be firm putting the lid on.

This weekend I'll have to have a look at the thermomix website as to what they are saying.

I have an unaffected machine and asked the question on their facebook page and rang them.

The bowls can be used on any tm31 machine but the green seal MUST be used on affected models and the grey seal MUST be used on non-affected models.

Give them a call anyway to confirm.

I have a question but not sure if it has already been asked.

I have a machine that was not affected by the problems.

I want to buy a second bowl but the bowl on offer comes with a green seal.

Is it ok for my machine?

I called thermomix today.  The answer to my own question is, yes I need to replace the green seal with a grey one.  The green seals are only to be used by the affected machines.

Although their website doesn't show the grey seals as available, if you call them, you can order for immediate dispatch.
