Thank you very much JD, yes it is a bit decadent so much so that all I had was a taste whilst I made it and will give the rest away. As long as I can hide it from master 4 till tomorrow afternoon. Wish me luck he can sniff out chocolate.

It has set fairly firm when put in the fridge so I would heat it and serve warm, but my brother would just use a spoon and eat out of the jar.

This is my first recipe sharing experiment so please feel free to share any ideas on improvement on the conversion or anything else!
I made this today as a gift for some girlfriends who have been an amazing support for me this year. Thought it was good enough to share.
It makes about 4 cups when complete so you could probably make a smaller batch if required and adjust the cooking time. Peppermint can be substituted for vanilla if that is what you prefer. The original recipe stated that it keeps for two weeks in the fridge and you just reheat as required. Would be great over ice cream.

Peppermint Hot Fudge Sauce

2 cups cocoa
1.5 cups sugar(I used raw)
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups cream
1 cup unsalted butter
2 teaspoons peppermint essence

Place everything in TMX bowl except peppermint essence mix on speed 3 for 6 minutes at 100 degrees. (my butter was out of the fridge so could reduce cooking time I guess if butter was room temp)
Add peppermint essence and mix for 10 seconds at speed 4.
I then tranferred to sterilised jars.

It has set fairly firm when put in the fridge so I would heat it and serve warm, but my brother would just use a spoon and eat out of the jar.

Dede I quit over 5 years ago after many failed attempts.

I did it by reading Allen Carrs - Easy way to stop smoking.

Highly recommend it. I was a pack a day smoker.

After months of lurking around in the background I have become a member!

I have had my TM for about four months (although we were on holidays for one month of that time and I was told I couldnt take it with me :()
This forum has been really usefull and I have loved all of the recipes that I have tried so far and there is still so many more to try. So thank you to all the great members! ;D

I hope to try and add a couple of my own converted recipes eventually, I will just have to remember to write things down as I do them.
