Wow 26 cookie, how crazy is that!  Not good about the impending water ban. Don’t send the heat over, the rain is always welcome though.  Lots of wet days in a row for us, it’s great.  Cold, yes but I love it.
Lucky nurse Chookie, she will enjoy your meal and kindness.

It started a lovely sunny day but rained this afternoon. A quiet walk with Chance in the wood this morning. Being a Sunday I think most people were having a lazy morning and sleeping in 😴.

Good morning everyone. - just made it.  A bitterly cold day here.  The rain has finally arrived along with an icy wind.
Chookie, that is very thoughtful of you making biscuits for the nurse.
Cookie, it's hard to imagine water restrictions at this time of the year.

We have the restrictions every year. No sprinklers or bores between June 1`st and August 31st.

Was 2 degrees at 9 am.  Rained nearly all day.
Cookie , that is bad with those water restrictions.

Good morning everyone.  Another cold day with an icy wind.  There is snow on the hills not far away.

Just back from Canada ... it has been very wet in Quebec, between snow melt and rains and I had forgotten about how green grass can be if there has been rain!  Had a great time though, except I was completely wiped out for the first two days (exhaustion I think), but perked up towards the end.

Chookie, Ral's last week sounds terrible, but good to hear that he has been approved for the new drug.  Hope it works well for him.

Frantically busy here since we got back - flat battery in car, imported bows about to be sent back overseas because I wasn't here to pay the bill, short supply of some items to one of our sub contractors for our renovation, maxed out Mastercard so payments being refused everywhere ... it hardly seems worth having been away.  Hope it will all calm down now - I think I have put all the 'fires' out!

Marina, that was a short trip.   With the prep before and the clean up of problems when you get back, sometimes you wonder if it is worth it.
It is very cold here today with misty rain.  Don’t mind it at all.

Nice to hear you are back safe and rested Marina, well you were until you struck all those problems.  What a pain.

Weather forecast,2 to 6 degrees.  Sounds a bit cold. Think I will make the Chookies some warm porridge.

Good morning everyone.  9 deg and the icy winds are still with us.  The wind was so strong last night we thought we would lose the TV antenna as well as our roof, everything shook.

Marina, good to know you are back safe.
