Collected some apples from garden ( yes those lorikeets are still devouring the fruit but not as much ) . Stewed apples 🍏 DH will be happy to have for his breakfast .

I made some sultana and almond muffins. Yesterday I did a date loaf and an old fashioned fruit slice like Mum used to make.

I had a butternut pumpkin that needed to be used up so, in spite of the weather being quite warm for this time of the year, I’ve made pumpkin soup. I have very little room in the freezers so my  next challenge will be to fit the packs in somewhere.

Real Autumn now. I love this season. Judy, always a challenge to fit that bit extra in the freezer.
Taught a friend to make HotX Buns. Also the makings of Portuguese Custard Tarts for tomorrow.

We're still having days of at least 30. I think yesterday was 33. We had the air con on and do again today.
Nothing to be cooked today. Last night's guests didn't eat much so I have put the leftovers in the freezer.

Kids arrive late on Sunday for a few days, they'll be busy doing things for the 2 Mums so I’ve cooked up enough to last them.
DD  -  pumpkin soup, vegetarian eggplant & green bean stew https://www.food.com/recipe/vegetarian-eggplant-and-green-bean-stew-19924 plus the vegetarian version of Nagi’s Quesadillas for the freezer.
https://www.recipetineats.com/quesadilla/#wprm-recipe-container-30274

SIL - he’s having the chicken version of the Quesadillas and SC lamb shanks with mash and peas. I’ll also give him some little sago puddings with home made custard which I made for him at Christmas. I don’t give him too many at a time as he would eat too many at one sitting, he loves them.
No photos, something has changed and I can’t reduce the size for the forum.

Cookie, these look delicious.
I haven’t been able to post photos for ages. Very frustrating.
Making more Hot X Buns today. This will be my 3 rd lot. I have a large marble table out side and I have been doing the second rise on it , when it’s sunny.
Also more Mango and Tomato chutney.
GF Banana Cake . I use a cake mix as the base and add extras.

Some photos from previous bakes.

Date loaf.
Date loaf is above, this is the fruit slice using only pastry, apple and fruit.
