Had a few days at the beach with DH DD . Last nights rain was intense. Only 25 mls rain at home .
Never eating chocolate again seems I’ve had a massive headache pain on head and eye and only this morning was able to get Panadol.

Making some Lemon and Carrot marmalade for a Probus member who is having Dialysis. Jam is one of the limited things he can eat. I’m also going to try making him some bread without salt. His wife is doing a fantastic job but is struggling.
Yesterday I visited the Source bulk food shop in Ballarat. They had a new item I couldn’t resist, dried Blueberries. They look like Currants but are stronger in flavour.

I’ve bought them from Costco Chookie, good to have on hand if I run out of their large frozen pack.

I love the dried mango from The Source - it can be a dangerous shop for me to visit!

I love dried blueberries too. I usually get mine at Costco. I usually stock up on dried pineapple, mango, cherries and blueberries when I’m there. I bought some dried dragon fruit this time.

Cookie , Marina and Judy, just as well there isn’t a Cosco near me as I’d go wild. The Source is expensive but you can buy just a small amount.
Today I’m having a member of the Tai Chi class for lunch. She is 91 so I will pick her up. I’ve made everything ready. soup, bread , Crumble.

DD and DH spent the day doing fire breaks .. oh that means a lot of stubble burning ! This afternoon was so so amok and large embers falling everywhere! We haven’t started yet . It’s nice to have DS home .

. She is on a walking frame. Can only do the arm exercises. She told me she attends the Tai Chi classes mostly for company. She is very frail but so determined to be independent.

DS trimmed the back hedge on Friday so we hired a skip bin to take away the branches and decided to have a bit of a clean out in the shed as well.  A busy weekend but glad we did it.

A trip to Bunnings this morning to buy some potting mix, compost and fertilizer.  DH prepared a large tub ready for planting the garlic bulbs in a few days.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Margaret I had my front woolly bush hedge cut professionally but I had to get rid of the cuttings. I ended up filling other people’s bins then my own again as soon as it was emptied.  Hedges are nice but a lot of work when pruning time comes around.
