Anyway I turned on the high beam outside light and stepped outside stark naked.

You betcha that would be enough to frighten them off Gretchen - I love your guts to do something like that.  I'd be bashed and robbed whilst I was getting myself attired to confront them  :-))

all was ok last night. Quite a few breakins around here, but we have fortunately never been - touch wood, but I think our turn will come eventually. They looked really sus, and I must tell the neighbour today as they were broken into not so long ago. DD and I slept like logs once we had locked ourselves in the bedroom. DH comes home Wed night, although he would sleep through a train coming through the bedroom wall.

Glad to hear you were safe last night CP :)

This morning I was enjoying a lovely bike ride in the sunshine until an unfortunate turn of events caused me to get up close and personal with the bitumen... in other words, I fell off :(

Do you have a dog CP?  It might be a good idea seeing as you girls are left home alone quite a lot.

Oops, forgot to ask you if you were graze free Amy - these accidents usually leave us more shaken than hurt.

Thanks Robyn, and don't worry Judy, I won't hold it against you ;) ;D
Just a few grazes on my elbow, hands and knees, but I think I twisted my back when I landed on my hip, so that is hurting quite a lot now :( But I will be fine :)

Amy, sorry to hear about your fall.  Glad you were not seriously hurt.
CP.  Stay safe.  It is a horrible feeling to know someone is possibly casing your home.
Take care

Your aches and pains may get worse before they get better Amy, especially if you have put something out in your back. You may need someone to look at it if it doesn't ease.

Thanks Marie :)

I think you're right Judy. I might make an appointment with my chiropractor just so he can check that nothing is out of place.

That's what I was going to suggest but I didn't know if you had a chiropractor.  I have never been to one in my life but my Mum swears by hers.

After all the trouble I've had with my back, I definitely have a chiropractor ;) He is from California ;D
I wouldn't go to any old chiropractor though, some of them can be brutal :o

He is very good Robyn, he uses a little clicky thing that looks like a sonic screwdriver :) Do you know the thing I mean?

Yes Amy, I have seen those.

I like a good hard massage, and hot towels, then the chiropractor can work on me.. :)
