Has been raining heavily. Not freezing, 10 degrees.
Same here, except I find it freezing and it's 14 degrees. I must be a softy. :D :D :D

Cool, max of 13 today.
Making progress with my country road driving.  Drove to Creswick yesterday on country  roads. There is a lovely clothing/ gift shop there.   Bought a lovely long cardigan.

Good to see you out and driving, Chookie.  Apart from times when the kangaroos are more active, it is much more pleasurable than tackling the freeways and the city!

Well done Chookie.  I'm happy driving on country roads, it's the thought of city driving that terrifies me.  I drove to the city on a Sunday once many years ago, never did it again.  We use the train if we have to go to the city.

Margaret, we live pretty close to the CBD so, thankfully, I rarely have to take our car in to the city - except for early Saturday morning market and when we are getting away at the weekend.  We've got two tram lines virtually on our doorstep and they do the trick the rest of the time.

At the moment I'm happy with city driving. After living in Broome for a couple of years in the 70's I found it hard coming back and driving in the city, the traffic is so much worse now. My Mum would never drive in the city.

Well done on the driving Chookie, does Ral travel with you?

Thanks for all the encouragement with the country driving. Until 15 years ago I drove in the city most days. I enjoy city driving.   After I retired Ral did all the driving.   He isn’t allowed to drive at the present because of the medication. I need to drive in the country as we love the countryside. I am setting myself a challenge each week.  We are fortunate that there are so many small but interesting towns nearby.

Cool here today but not a lot of rain. I think we have had something like 107mm in the last week or so.

It’s rained for the last two days here. It’s not very warm either. When I was driving today the temperature on the dashboard said it was 14c.

Feels like -2.  Heavy rain yesterday.  No one is complaining.
Last night I attended the Banff film festival. This is a collection of short films of people doing amazing things.  Example, a 97 year old man who runs marathons. ( or shuffles ) very inspirational. 2 very ordinary blokes who ran in a 100 mile race within 35 hours.
