The amazing thing about this soup is it is full of good things, yet very low in calories and carbs.

Yes I’ve had the first one Chookie and I think the 2nd one is due tomorrow. There was a 3rd order placed as well!  I’ve ordered a raft of items from gardening bibs and bobs, shoes, a summer dress, lots of toys etc for my GD’s cats for Christmas presents. Lots of small, cheap items which are always handy to have on hand, eg bandaids, sewing pins and some small kitchen items. I’m happy with what I’ve received so far. I took a punt on the casual sneaker like shoes and ordered their size 5.5 which were a good fit for a size 7 but you can return things for free if they don’t fit.

Judy, I’ve been tempted. They have a great variety.
I have to say Mother’s Day was a great success. DIL fixed a couple of computer problems for me. DS mowed the lawn( and the neighbors) and GS helped wash my car . I made My Favorite Quiche .lots of salads. Garlic bread and cold roast chicken.

DD and GD came for Mother's Day, pumpkin soup & home made buns for lunch.  DD cleaned the shower for me, something she does sometimes.

Our Mothers' Day was different this year. I felt dreadful and DD wasn't the best. So we moaned and groaned our way through the day together.

DD was to go back to work today but is still testing +ve. They said to still come back. She wasn't too impressed by that so rang her GP. He said No WAy and has given her a certificate.
DH is recovering well.

That’s awful Cookie. The hospitals are so short of staff. Glad DH is recovering.
I’ve had wax build up in my ears. had a day in a very strange noiseless world. Dr saw me in his lunch time and removed it.

My DH has this Chookie. Every now and then he has to get the nurses at our GP’s to syringe them. He gets quite deaf.

Two of our GDs flew out today each with a friend for a holiday overseas.  They are not travelling together but will meet up in Athens for a few days and then separate again.

Dr, next door neighbour called in with blood test results. Diabetes pretty good, but sending neck to specialist to check kidneys and liver. Slight variations. I’m quite relieved as I’ve not been particularly careful these last few months.
