My first posting on this thread :)

Baked some honey and soya sauce chicken wings. The family's favourite wings. It's so good that I could increase the amount of chilli flakes (I'm training son #3 to eat hot food) and the wings would still "fly" out of the plate :D

Made chicken and prawns tom yam soup for extra kick on a cold night. Plus rice, our usual carbo.

Last night I went to a presentation night for my son, he came first in added value butchering. After the all the prizes were given we were treated to a lovely dinner of salads, roast lamb, roast beef, sausages. caramelised onion and bread rolls. It was all lovely.  :D

Mich, that sounds a lovely evening - many congratulations to your DS!!  Just a pity about the weather though.  Your drive down and back would have been somewhatl stressful with the weather/traffic conditions last night . .. .

That soup does sound nice BZB.

Congratulations to DS Michele, apart from the weather conditions for driving, it sounded a great evening.  DH was a butcher.

Congratulation to DS Mich, I've always thought it would be good to have a butcher in the family. What does value add butchering cover?

Hally, this casserole is a favourite of both mine and DD and normally get to have left overs but DD's boyfriend has started eating at our house every Wednesday and I got DH to give a small dish to his Mum so no leftovers for me.

I'm loving using the PC again, I just wish I was home more so I could do all the cooking.

Also what happened to your pc? from memory you bought one when most people were buying the 5 in 1.

Always good to have a butcher in the family.  :D

Value added is where you can buy marinated meats etc. from the butcher. DS won the judges over with a veal lattice strudel.  ;D
