Great food Uni. Franks pie looks good too.

Hamburgers, chips and salad for the boys.  Quinoa salad for me.

Jeez Kimmy! Even with the thermomix you thought that slice would be too hard? ;D ;D ;D

I'm cooking a risotto instead of the casserole... ;)

We had a variation on Ragu, with beef mince, chorizo, bacon made with tinned cherry tomatoes....quick and easy since I'm having to bake 3 batches of cookies and a slice to satisfy the locusts that I live and work with....we would also be having baked gecko if I could get my hands on the rotters who are making LOTS of noise outside my kitchen window.

Mmmn yum:)
It's been a busy day and I finally got home  and started to think about dinner for me at 8.30. Eggs to the rescue! I made myself Akoori which is a Parsi style spiced scrambled eggs with coriander, mushrooms and a tiny black chili from the garden.

Wow, ES, that's some scrambled egg dish!!

We had  delicious Roast Chicken and Vegies with all the trimmings, including stuffed pumpkin, followed by Donna Hay's Caramel Banana Pudding from the latest magazine issue.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
