That is not nice at all Chookie. Hopefully it is sorted.
We went to a birthday party for my 1 year old great niece. She is adorable. It was only small and in a park. Very nice.

Hope you are better, Chookie.  I had a short spell of vertigo last year and it was no fun, fortunately my GP gave me some exercises to do which were a massive help.  Take care.

Cookie hope the vertigo settles down. Cleaned the split aircons filters and wiped units down . Up a ladder never feels safe . DH was around part of the time . Cleaned up some branches outside .

We had a car run today. It was through a lot of roundabouts (lots of gear changing and hard steering). You need to double de clutch on Model A’s so it is hard driving. A pleasant outing and meeting.

We forget how lucky with the modern cars, Cookie, they make life so much easier but you do lose the 'whole' driving experience of the old cars.

Yes Judy. Many of the drivers were complaining.

My first car required double de clutching. Great fun when you are young. Wouldn’t want to do it now.

Visitors for lunch. I’ve precooked most of lunch, eggplant dip, garlic bread, duck, mashed potatoes, gravy. Prepared veggies for last minute cooking. Made custard and pastry shells for Portuguese tarts will bake at last minute.
Yesterday I made Hot X Buns. I did mixing and first rise in bread machine. Pretty good. I think they didn’t rise quite as much as traditional method. I therefore gave them more time on second rise. This worked very well. With sweet buns , in Winter in our cold climate, I think this method will be very handy.

Same here Mab. The shelves were rather empty here as the railway line is out on the Nullabor and trucks are only just coming through. I was surprised at some of the things that were low, cordials and fruit juices, powdered milk, most yoghurts. Plenty of toilet paper. ;D ;D ;D
