Mayo
« on: July 18, 2013, 06:04:00 am »
Not loving my TM today.
2 lots of mayo curdled, greasy, nasty cleanup job and loads of time wasted when I was short of it.
Now have to go buy mayo.

So disappointing when things don't come together. Waste of ingredients and time and the added trip to the shops to buy a jar.

Which recipe did you use Amanda?  I use this one and never have a problem

Isn't there a hint on here somewhere telling us how to save curdled mayo?  Yes topic 5257 tells us how to do it.  My iPad won't let me copy the link at the moment.

That's basically the recipe I used Judy, only had everything at room temp so didn't set to 37C.
Also tried the save on the forum and wasted another egg yolk as it didn't work.
