I bpught a Smith & Norton saucepan today to replace the one I burnt. ( Couldn't get the burnt one clean.)  Priced at $49.95 and got it for $19.95.  Also bought some plastic coated shelves to use in the pantry
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

We went to the good food and wine show today and had a great day. We picked up a few things but these are my favorite purchases.

They look great. I hope they have them at our GFWS.

They were at the Myer stand cookie so you can probably get them for the same price at Myer r online. They were 40% off and the book came as a gift, still expensive but they will last a lifetime and look a great size for individual serves.

Bought a new dishwasher today. Been eyeing this Siemens for a while. Usual price $1399 at Retravision. On clearance at $999. 5 year warranty.

Happy :)

Thanks CC and Mich. I've always wanted a Miele dishwasher but they are terribly expensive in OZ. When I first saw the Siemens a few months ago, I was intrigued.

Glad to hear your friend likes it, CC. It will be while before we can install ours :(

I need some advice! Given that this is the "Shopping" thread I thought I'd ask all of you seasoned shoppers for some ideas! My frypan is in desperate need of replacing. It is just hopeless! Even cooking french toast (how hard can that be) today is a disaster!

Have you got any suggestions as to brands or types? non-stick, not non-stick, stainless steel, cast iron...I'm a novice and have no idea! Given the sales at the moment I think I need to go shopping ASAP!

Thanks! :)
