I bought another car! My DH is furious. He loves our Statesman, as do I, but it's getting on and I'm sick of having to take it out on gravel roads and into paddocks, so I bought a VW Touareg SUV!! Very excited....  Can't pick it up for a while because to get the deal that I wanted, I had to agree to get a bit of damage on our car fixed via insurance, get it serviced and detailed. Lots of haggling, but I'm happy with the changeover price.

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Had to look it up MJ, never heard of it - lovely looking car and it will be perfect for where you have to drive.  Pity about DH  ;)

Wow MJ. But I'm like your DH. I love The Statesman. Very regal.

Regal indeed cookie, but just not practical. I adore it's spaciousness, luxury and comfortable ride. But, I loathe parking it...

The colour is a metallic grey, Gert.
