Yvette the $62 jug is different from the tupperware pasta cooker.  I have the pasta cooker and it is cheaper and fantastic.  I always cook pasta ths way now - just chuck it in, fill with water and microwave for 15 mins, drain.  You can't cook fresh pasta in it though, only  the dried pasta.

I like it because with 2 small kids who are always in the kitchen, there is less danger than with a pot of boiling water on the stove.

Here is the link to the pasta cooker - only $30 worth every cent! http://http://tupperware.com.au/wps/wcm/connect/AUS/website/productgallery/productcollections/tupperwave/microwave+pasta+cooker

Free?  :'( :'( :'( I never got one...but I have something similar which I use all the time, and can also steam vegetables in it. Cost about $25. Just wondering what tupperware has that warrants being twice the price (and of course one that is free)

Just checking is the $62 jug people are talking about the pasta tupperware one? Do you like it? I think it sounds good a lot easier than bringing the saucepan to the boil and waiting for the pasts, if you can just put everything in the jug and forget about it sounds good to me

I bought mine from ebay, in mint condition for 1/2 the price  ;)  I hate paying lots for tupperware!
Well I must dig out that pasta cooker then, and give it a try.

Had a look on e bay for the pasta maker, is it a rectangular shape it is not what I pictured it would like?
