It's called the Spencer Street Fashion Station. It's not very good for an outing. I buy all my stuff from the matchbox there. The better one is South Wharf DFO. It's huge!!

Very jealous Dede! C'mon Mr Tax Man!!

I went to the south wharf DFO when we were in Melbourne. Staggered out with shoes and goodness knows what.

Maddie, you might want to check the location of DFO, the one that was above southern cross station has been turned into just normal shops I think and DFO moved to a new location near the Hilton (sorry can't remember the exact name). I haven't been to the shops above Southern Cross since it's changed hands so not sure what's there anymore.

That reminded me of the time we were in Melbourne and I had just taken DH into the disabled toilets on the ground floor (the DFO near the Hilton) when an alarm went off and an announcement made to 'clear the building immediately'.  Well DH found himself picked up off the loo and back into his wheelchair so quickly his head was still spinning as I raced outside with everyone else. Have no idea what it was all about but I wasn't hanging around to come face to face with a crazed gunman or gas explosion or whatever the problem was.   ;D

A similar thing happened to me in a change room in Suzanne Graes (a clothes shop) in Katherine last year. I was in the change room stripped off and trying on clothes and there was an announcement to evacuate the building immediately. Even though I really rushed the woman in charge had sprinted out before me yelling at me to just take any clothes I wanted and come back and pay later.

It's a terrible situation to find yourself in isn't it Cookie - for me trying to rush DH just doesn't get me anywhere, everything just shuts down and he takes longer so the quickest thing was for me to take over and get the hell out of there.

Cookie and JD two very visual experiences to behold. Not to be repeated of course and glad you are safe and sound but hilarious all the same. In hind sight  of course. No pun intended.

I thought you might get a bit of a laugh at our experience Gert - I had a laugh at remembering ours again and then reading Cookie's of course I could relate to it.

Did my food shopping today and by buying 3 Leggo's products I got this free recipe book - tomato paste or pizza sauce always handy to have in the pantry.

No I think smaller. It does not say but espresso size so small but how cute  for a wee choc pud with coffee? Creme brûlée?
