Mab, what size pie maker did you use.  .?  The mini one would make 8 from 1/2 No Fuss recipe and the larger one 6 rolls. It is best to have a wet rather than stiff dough. Double rise gives a better texture.  Playing around today, I tried both pie makers.  The mini ones turned out rather strange as they looked like little pies.  They tasted ok. They costed out at just over 10 cents each.

Thanks Chookie.  I used the Sunbeam pie maker and did the double rise.  I can see by you picture that my rolls were too large.  Three came out looking like pies and very crisp, two others were a better size and not as crispy.  I cooked them for 10 mins and they could have done with a bit longer.  Tasted ok  and I will make them smaller next time.  I might even try cooking them in the AF too.

KAtie, nothing wrong with a spot of the old sherry. Forum members that know me well are aware that I’m terrified of wind. I always need a shot or two or three of Port if it gets very windy.  Since being diagnosed with diabetes I have only had to resort to it a couple of times, I called it medicine.

Many years  ago a lass I worked with wasn’t coping too well with lots of things. She was a strict teetotaller. She went and chatted to her doctor. He prescribed a small glass of sherry each evening. He said it would relax her.  She was totally amazed how it helped her.

Mab, I had a couple of little ones that looked like pies.  Tasted ok. I write down what I have done and stick it in the machine.  Do the same with the bread tins.

Coconut spiced marinated whole chicken, a new one on Cookidoo. Oh my gosh this was worth the wait . Prepped yesterday too late to cook ,so we had it tonight with coconut rice using the juices and coconut milk ,of the steamed marinated chicken.
DD and DS surprised us after I picked DH up , they pulled out a bottle of wine and glasses with a note saying Happy anniversary Mum and Dad . So we had our wedding anniversary dinner it was delicious. Now we always forget our anniversary a friend texted me this am to wish us HWA . Lucky or yet again we might of missed it .

Congrats on your Wedding Anniversary, KAtie. Sounds like a nice meal and what a nice surprise from the kids.
I poached a chicken, so maybe chicken and mushroom pie. Cauli soup for lunch.

Only me for dinner tonight.  I have 1 thawed chicken filet and a craving for vegetables so need to make something with this.

I had to go out this morning and didn’t return until 2 pm so I had lunch and dinner rolled into one - fillet steak with some leftover veggies.  A nice and quick meal.

Found a packet of Low Fodmap risotto in my tidy up.  Will have this with grilled salmon.
I am finally getting some spaces in the freezer .  Lovely.

Last night we had fresh barramundi with chips, slow roasted tomatoes and RTE Cowboy Bean Salad.
The night before we had Chicken Kiev in the pie maker. They were perfect. I minced the chicken n the thermomix and just made one each for us.

Thanks for the link to the Chicken Kiev Cookie.  Great idea.
Flavour Bomb Chicken.  This Bomb was mixed with Coconut milk and the chicken oven roasted in the mixture.
