Hi TAT, I'm glad you liked this one too -it's good to know they were fluffy and crispy for you too.

If you get around to it, you can make the sauce well in advance and then freeze it in two separate containers/zip lock bags and each bag should then have just about enough sauce for the three pizzas this dough recipe makes.
I'm hoping to make a big batch of the sauce and freeze it and also a couple of batches of dough, roll them out and freeze them too. Then when I get home from work all I'll have to do is defrost the sauce & bases whilst I chop the pizza toppings. Someone here on the forum suggested that to me a while ago.

That's so funny. I was just saying the same thing to DH today - if I make my own sauce in advance, it will be just as quick, and far more tasty, than shop bought! Awesome!

Yes, that's a great idea! We used frozen dough on Friday but didn't roll it out first so it was a bit harder to work with. Freezing the bases ready rolled is definitely the way to go! Our pizzas have never tasted so good - I think of you every time we eat pizza! Such a great recipe! Now I just have to try the sauce  :)

Made these for the first time today, both base and pizza sauce.  Thumbs up from us, best pizzas I've made.  Thanks for such a great recipe.

I'm not to sure why this base recipe is so fluffy and not others. It is still just right for us.

What a huge compliment Judy! - although I really can't take the credit, I just converted a recipe that was good to begin with :)

TAT- it's funny when you think of someone you've never "met" when eating their recipes- I do it too  :)

Yes, Cookie, I wondered the same thing and thought it was just my oven or something, but hearing other people's reviews means it must be a special recipe!

Nazar, I'm really not sure as I've always just frozen it. It would be great if you could though. Maybe someone else might know?

Pizza night at our place tonight.  8) I made this base last time we had pizzas, and really enjoyed it, so using again and this time with the sauce too (had other sauce to use up last time).

Pleased to be getting a few extra veges in there - I do load our pizzas up with toppings, but it never seems like that much vege.

I use the pizza recipe often and have forgotten to give a review. We really like it and it is very easy to work with. I also used it to make pizza scrolls in the week and they turned out really well. Very soft even the following day. I froze the remainder so will report back how they defrosted when I know.

Made the pizza sauce and it is delicious. Used homegrown tomatoes and cooked for an extra 10min to thicken up. I did blitz till smooth at the end as i like smooth not chunky ;) Have frozen in batches, ready for pizza night. Thanks for a great recipe. Another thing deleted from my shopping basket ;D

I hope no one minds but I am going to do something just for me.  We have these bases every Saturday night and I still go and look for them in bread. I am going to put a copy of the bases into breads.
