Chocolate Crinkle Biscuits
ingredients
200g plain chocolate
90g butter
100g sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
200g plain flour
50g icing sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
Melt butter and chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from the heat.  Stir in the sugar and vanilla., leave to cool slightly, then beat in the eggs one at a time.
Stir in the flour , baking powder and beat until it forms  a soft dough. Cover with glad wrap and chill in the fridge for a few hours.
Preheat the oven to 160.
Sieve the icing sugar into a bowl. Divide the mix into walnut size pieces, roll in icing sugar and place on baking tray. Flatten with a fork and bake for 10-15 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.

these could easily be made in the thermomix. DD figured the saucepan was easier to wash.  :)

This recipe came from a card by Lakeland.

Another one to add to my to do list ;)
Woollies had Cadbury cooking chocolate on special last week for $1.84 so I brought a couple of blocks and some choc bits (dark, white and milk).
So plenty of chocolate to make this recipe.

Would it make a roll and then chill and slice?
Looks good thanks for posting.

Actually DJ daughter said that would be easier next time she makes them. I should have mentioned that but forgot. Blame old age.  :)
