Hi
today after work I made Beef Stroganoff and dinner rolls milled straight from wheat for the first time for dinner..All in only an hour!!! I later made CADA ( for the morning) and rice custard for my daughter who now has a cold and wanted a treat! It was all so yummy and a big hit with all. I love that so much can be made in such a short time and with very little effort!!  :)

We had JD's curried mince from either forum or MOTM - added an apple and a small handful of sultanas - served with steamed rice and a dollop (all be it large) of sour cream - so tasty and a favourite for us.  :)  :)

Last night we had marinated stir fry steak cooked in the varoma with lots of vegies while the rice cooked in the basket. I added a bit of soy at the end. More or less Jo's recipe.
Tonight is FISH. Yeah I caught 2 legal size. A cod about 45cm and a black snapper 40cm. I also caught a 60cm pink snapper but it is illegal to catch them here at the moment so I had to look longingly at it and throw it back. I also caught a few baldchin groper and black snapper thaqt were about 1cm less than the legal size. I wanted to sit on them and stretch them but DH told me not to be silly. :P He didn't catch anything legal size. :D
All in all we had a lovely afternoon fishing.

Oh well Cookie, they say fishing is relaxing so as long as you are catching them instead of sitting there whistling amongst yourselves, it is keeping you busy and the less you catch the less you have to clean.  Nice to see you beating the pants of DH at the game. Don't keep that up though or you might be walking home  ;) ;)

Today I've made Chookies Plain White Rolls - no fuss, Healthy Chicken Rice Porridge with Goji Berries from the new Asian book (review posted here) and Lemon Pudding Surprise Cake which is more like a lemon, self saucing pudding and is delicious.  Taking the rolls (minus 2 ) and 'cake' down to DD's tomorrow night for Mothers' Day tea, she is doing the main.
