Dehydrating tomatoes
« on: December 10, 2024, 09:39:51 pm »
I heard on the news this morning that there is a glut of truss tomatoes so thought I would take advantage of that.  Has anyone dehydrated tomatoes in their air fryers?  Are there any specific dos and don'ts or any good recipes, suggestions, etc.?  There are quite a lot of recipes on Google, but I thought I would ask or get advice on here first.

No I’ve never done that Marina. If I get cheap tomatoes I usually cook them down in the thermomix with a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar and use them as passata.
