Title: how to use the Thermomix with a transformer
Post by: francoiseny on October 28, 2008, 04:29:14 am

How to use a thermomix in USA with a transformer and convert from 220 volts to 110 volts.

You need a two to one step up transformer to convert from 110 volts at the US electrical outlets to 220 volts needed by your Thermomix.
You will  also need plugs and outlets for the transformer to connect to the Thermomix and the US electrical outlets.

The transformer will need a 1.5 kilowatts rating.
I purchased the transformer  at a local electrical supply store for about $ 60.00 dollars.

After I moved from France to the US I used my European Thermomix with this transformer for many years.

Thanks for that - is it the same for all other electrical equipment?  I have never been anywhere that I have needed to use 110v power supply.
