Yummy burgers mcmich, great looking salad Kimmy. Anything with avocado and honey mustard has got to be good! Can't pass up a seafood pie either Judy.

We had left over stirfried noodles and sausage rolls.

All these lunches look delicious. I always have a salad with some sort of protein and D H has left overs. We have our main meal in the evening, and with only the 2 of us it is quick and easy.

We are the opposite cookie. We have had our main meal at lunch ever since DH retired. Often it is no supper  or a salad or something simple. DH likes his toast and vegemite  fix in the evening.

Im making the quinoa bites from the recipe in the latest newsletter from HO (the recipe is on recipe community).  Haven't cooked with quinoa before, and found it fiddly with the little bits going through the slots in the steaming basket and getting stuck in the strainer.

But the bites look and smell really yummy!

I cook quinoa in the Thermothingy with the basket lined with a chux sometimes but the stove top is easier I think. Also ok in microwave.

Thanks for the tip Gert - didn't think of lining it with a chux.  We don't have a microwave, but I think for the small amount this recipe uses, the saucepan might be easier.

I cook it in the microwave, turns out perfect. First time I used TM  basket & lost most of it :)

They do look nice Kimmy. I must make them this week as my zucchini plants are doing well- today I found a few I had missed that had suoersized themselves during the heat wave.
