Wow this sounds really good. Something different from the original Lasagna.

Dizzygirl, I'm sure there are lots of similar recipes out there but I searched here and didn't see anything too resembling so I thought I'd post my recipe. I came up with it one day and have been making it regularly since as we love it in the family and the sauce is so easy to make with our Thermomix!
Dede, yes it's a spicy vegetarian version of the traditional italian lasagne and it's even easier to make!

I think I'll give this a try but probably add some mince to the mix. Have tried some vegetarian meals in the past and DH always asks where the meat is. Looks great though and can't wait to try - thanks for posting.

Twitterpated, it's probably delicious with some minced meat too. I am the same here, they love meat too much! But I try to cook  meat dishes no more than 3 times a week as I don't think we need to eat so much protein. Maybe adding some kidney beans would make it more meaty?

Didn't think of the kidney beans - thanks for that. I'm the same here with meat but with a teenage son as well, I am fighting a losing battle. They think it's really funny to say "....but where's the protein (meaning meat not other proteins of course)". I was vegetarian for many years before I married so it's not a real problem for me. Will give it a go with the beans and see if I can get away with it.
