Tinnedtomatoes is one of my favourite sites. I use and adapt lots of her recipes.

I like skinnytaste.com recipes and for fast days I just divide and freeze some of the recipes into smaller portions. I have 2 of her books but generally get the recipes from FB and have a special book into which I write down all the recipes I would like to do so that I can search for them down the track - there are plenty of them on my list. I love recipes that have calories already counted for me, it saves me a lot of time.

I haven't heard of them, Judy. I must pop over and have a look.

I've found my eating has had to have a fairly major turn around since being diagnosed with diabetes. Carbs are important. With complex carbs being the best. Whatever I am doing I've lost 13kg, the exercise has helped too!!
I go for my 6 monthly diabetic check next week so I'm sure it will go well. I don't want to have to go on medication.

Thanks for that Chookie and your sweet words Judy and Denise. I must admit I get tempted every now and then but then I remember BIL who only has one toe left out of ten, can't drive anymore etc, etc. he is a wonderful incentive for me.
I've been to a couple of diabetes classes run by the diabetes people and they are really good and fun too. They help you understand it and they are only ever a phone call away. Sort of like AA I guess!!! Or even cookbooks anonymous!
