Mcmich, thanks for the photo. I couldn’t post it. I also used the same recipe to make bread sticks. The GC loved them.
Thought I might make Cookies Orange biscuits today. Also, I continue to make the lemon and carrot marmalade. So easy in the TMX and everyone likes it. A Probus member who is on dialysis can eat it and sees it as a treat.
Breakfast has become a bit boring so made some basic Bircher Museli in the TMX. 2 apples, 2 cups oats, 1 cup of Greek yogurt and I cup of milk. Keeps for 5 days, 6 serves with extra fruit.

Well done Chookie . Is there a maximum filling capacity fir the open life’s cooking? .
I don’t know KAtie. I filled it to maximum. The chicken legs weren’t knocked around at all. I also added the bones and carcass of the takeaway chook. I remove the stuffing.
I also notice that not a lot of steam escapes from the lid.
Judy, half the fun of getting a new appliance is pushing it to the limit. This 7 will really test me but it is so much fun.
My SC gave up working, after 30+ years so I thought I would see if the 7 would do the job. Good, but don’t feel I could leave it on and go out.

Mab, not much fun. At least it’s good soup weather.
Last night, Cauli based chicken soup using the stock I made in 7. Then chicken breast on SD toast.
My neighbour sent in some chicken soup he had made. It was delicious. I think it had coconut in it.

Agree, drinking this amount of water is difficult. I fill a 2 litre jug in the morning and then make allowances for tea and coffee and soup during day. I also use a large cup for tea and try to vary flavour. T2 Melbourne Breakfast is my favourite at the moment.
Yesterday I looked after my 2 little neighbours.  We made Banana and oat muffins in the 7. Went shopping at Source. They love my new car. They had great fun asking it to do things like open sun roof and adjust heating.

Katie, very frustrating. Sounds like you need a ‘ me’ day.
Cookie, that is cold for you. Good day for baking.
Today I’m having lunch with my DS and DBI at a restaurant. We will meet 1/2 way between our homes.

Thanks Cookie for sharing.
Our consultant showed my friend how to put ingredients from a recipe on to phone shopping list .
Yesterday I cooked 4 large chicken legs in 7. To make stock. Again it kept pushing the lid off. Problem solved by setting 7 to lid off program but placing lid back on. I set the machine at 1 hour, 100 degrees, gentle reverse. The lid off temperature has to be set at 100 or less.

mcmich I cooked with a friend yesterday, with the 7. Together we discovered lots of new processes. Have you tried the Soft Chinese Buns? They are on Cookidoo. If you haven’t got this, you can probably find it on line.

Mab, you could also try the fruit fluff recipes. I make a mango one that everyone likes. Can use frozen mango.
I’m baking a lamb shank in the sauce from the beef and sweet potato stew.
Yesterday , with a friend, we made Portuguese tarts. Made the custard in the 7 but cut the cooking time down to 10 minutes. I compared the Cookidoo recipe with mine. My recipe is richer. Mine has cream and an extra egg yolk. We also made Brazilian Cheese Puffs from Cookidoo. This was the standard recipe.

Cookie, great to see you celebrating national chocolate day. I did my bit by eating 2 Tim Tams.
That Lindt recipe looks interesting.
Just Portuguese tarts with friend.
