I am going to make this today so I also thought I would make one using chocolate that has little pieces of mint in it as well.  Hope it works out.  Will let you know when I have had a taste!!!

I tried this at Judy's. It is delicious.

Today I made both the plain and mint version of this lovely slice.
For the mint version I melted 250grms of cadbury mint chip chocolate.  Tastes a bit like the mint slice biscuits.

Glad you enjoyed it Trudy and love the tweak. If peppermint is your thing, let me know and I will dig up and old recipe for peppermint slice that uses peppermint crisps.

It probably would have been quicker for you to make your own butter lol :-))

Are you going to make the normal version or add another flavour to it Uni?

Am I wrong or does this slice taste a bit like fudge?  It does to me but then I've only made fudge a couple of times, only once successfully.

Judy I think it has a fudge like consistency also.  Not quite the same but you could sure serve it on a tray with other sweets.

Thanks Trudy, that's good enough for me.  I find fudge not that easy to get right and this one is so easy.
