Chocolate Anzac BiscuitsIngredients½ cup dried apricots
120g butter
150g plain flour
80g rolled oats
140g sugar
90g dark choc bits
15g coconut
3 tablespoons golden syrup
1 teaspoon carb soda
Turn oven to 190
0Chop the apricots for 2-3 seconds on speed 6. Set aside.
Place butter in the bowl, melt for 2 minutes at 50
0 speed 1.
Place all the other ingredients in the bowl. Lock the lid and use
for around 30 seconds until mix comes together.
Place heaped teaspoonfuls onto greased trays, press down gently with a fork.
Bake for 10-12 minutes.
These are just slightly different to traditional anzacs for a change. I based the recipe on a CSR one.
members' commentsCP - My mix was very dry so I ended up adding 65g water, probably should have added only about 40g as they flattened a little bit and weren't as perky looking as yours. Never mind, they taste delicious. Adding chocolate and apricots makes them very special.

JD - I whipped up a batch of these this morning, put them in the oven, turned around and there was the bowl of chopped apricots looking at me. So, out of the oven, back into the bowl with the apricots and I started over again. Very nice thanks Cookie. I made about
