I hope I'm a good MIL? I don't drop in unannounced, if we are nearby I always ring first to say is it OK if we drop in?
I never give advice unless I'm asked and try to hold my tongue when I have an opinion .... ALTHOUGH
When my DD stomped back home after their first argument, I did tell her it wouldn't be the last and to go home and sort it out with your husband.

I get along very well with with SIL parents too so that helps, we socialise a lot together so often the kids don't have to decide which lot of parents to see.

Sorry Amy don't know any young men in W.A. Being at Taffe, through your music and the gym you'll meet someone nice

That's very kind of you ladies.
It's so different being a mum to adult children, you still worry but about different things. Sometimes I think it was easier when I just had to run after them and potty train.
