I was trying to get some dough out from the blade and thought I would quickly do it with the pate knife and now it is well and truly stuck. Hope DH can break the knife somehow. Well that's put an end to my cooking today. Luckily I 'm pretty well finished.

Like Gretchen says that little brush from Helene is superb for cleaning under the blades.You will love it. ;)

Have you sprayed some oil on it to see if that will move it Michele?  Or some liquid soap?  You sure managed to get that stuck good and proper - I hope DH comes to your aid.

Smoked some corn cobs in a pot last night and forgot that a pot with no liquid content is WAY hotter than one with liquid !

Luckily it was an old wooden pot stand
