A very sound justification too Chookie. Catering is a brilliant idea and you can enjoy things too.

I had my hair cut this morning and then out in the garden this afternoon.

Took my leaf blower out for its first run today - it's great. Cleared loads of autumn leaves in a fraction of the time it used to take me to rake them all up.

Pulled out all the tomato bushes today.  Collected a lot of green tomatoes. Have spent a lot of time on Google looking at recipes. Had a large home grown tomato on SD toast for breakfast.  Was something really special.
Few days ago pulled out the Zuchinni plants.  Sorry to see them go as we have been eating them for months.
Yesterday at the Creswick Swap, I took quince Jelly and Quince Paste.  All commented on the Quince Paste and how laborious it is to make.   Ral and I had a laugh afterwards as the TMX makes it easy.
Came home with another bag of Quinces and some home grown Water Chestnuts.  Was intending to grow some but after trying to peel them, don’t think they will be worth the effort.

DH pulled out our last tomato bush yesterday.  We were still  picking semi ripe tomatoes every few days.

I pulled out our one and only cherry tomato plant a couple of weeks ago (it grew like a triffid!) - the tomatoes were gettiong smaller and smaller and more and more bitter as the weeks went by.  There were still dozens of green tomatoes on the plant, but not worth doing anything with them.

Marina, was that the tomato bush growing in the compost heap?
I am building up the SD starter for the SD Workshops. Need a lot.
If it is too cold to go outside I might attempt to tidy up my printed Recipes.
Noticed a recipe on the Forum for Muffins that contain SD. Might give it a go.

I went to get my hair cut this morning, then to the TNT depot to pick up a parcel for DD, that arrived when I was out to lunch yesterday, and then to my Italian deli.

I have been doing my very best to have a nervous break down.
Lots of changes to my computers by Apple.  I haven’t been able to post photos on my Blog for ages.  I don’t really like putting recipes on without a photo.
Today I was determined to do battle.  I finally won and am feeling very pleased with myself.

Good for you Chookie.  Computers, NBN and mobile phone problems are potential triggers for nervous breakdowns for we oldies.

I am so glad you won Chookie. We look to be getting NBN soon as they are working just on the edge of the next suburb. I’m not looking forward to sorting that out. Judy have you kept your home line?
