She couldn't cook anything pre TM. Now she's got so much confidence in the kitchen it's marvelous. She got KIS for Xmas. I do miss my kitchen partner :'( we used to have good times and chats

I can imagine how much you miss her CP. I would miss DD if she was interstate. You must be very proud of her cooking up a great meal like that. I bet her guests were impressed too.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I know exactly how you feel CP. Mum and I try to cook together each Friday. It's something we started when I had my first baby. It was initially an extra pair of hands or someone to hold baby while I cooked. Now it's trying new recipes together, chatting and having fun. And it's amazing how many little tips mum has passed on that she hadn't previously shown me. I don't know who gets more out of it, but we both love it 😊

we used to joke alot about how we were going to go on My Kitchen Rules. Now thats impossible because we are in different states :D

thats so nice kimmy, you will have lots of happy memories. food can bring people together even before it gets to the table

I am anxiously waiting for more KIS books to come in; have ordered from Weigh and Pay. Bought DD a copy for Christmas and had a good read then went to get me a copy and they have all gone. Another best seller obviously. I will just have to wait and read all these great reviews.
